Nice to meet you!

My name is Alli Durst, I'm an actress, stitcher, dresser, and costume/makeup designer. I am currently based in Madison, Wisconsin and I am aspiring to move to Chicago!

 

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a BFA in Acting and additional education and experience in costume construction and design. I am currently working at the Children's Theatre of Madison as an actor, stitcher, and dresser. I recently played Miep Gies in The Diary of Anne Frank at The Children's Theatre of Madison and I'm currently understudying A Christmas Carol there as well. I recently finished my third season working at American Players Theatre as a stitcher in the costume shop.  I am an active cast member with The Dinner Detective Madison and I perform in shows monthly with a rotating cast.

 

Outside of theatre, I stay busy creating by sewing, crocheting, and making gemstone jewelry. I am happiest when I express myself through art onstage or with my hands! I am a cat lover, plant mom, yogi, and herbalism lover. I strive daily to get closer to my authentic self and experience the beauty and joys of the world in every moment!
